Titleist 731PM Irons

can i please get an estimate on the 731's guys. I need to know to pull the trigger or not. I've been told they aren't worth but 250, and someone told me they are worth $400.

According to the PGA Value Guide Titleist 731pm irons are worth (resale) anywhere between $260 and $316 with the mid-range set being called $300 (based on 131 transactions). Bookmark and use that site. It's good.

so would anyone pay $350 for these in 8/10 condition. I've heard they aren't worth much, and then have heard that thet're awesome and well worth it, and that they are very rare.

Yes. C'mon, what do you want from people? They're left-handed versions of the Titleist 660 or something similar to that. Jeez, do a Google search. Guess where you'll wind up in the top three links? i have done a search and supposedly they are only worth $175, but they are going on ebay for $350 all day long

It could also depend if he is using a blade or a cavity.  Blades tend to hit the ball further than a cavity club.  Which type are you using?
