Right now I am using an old Ping anser 2 and absolutely hate it . I know I need to switch putters. The full shaft offset of that putter is just too hard to get used to. Its just a matter of which one to choose.

I am looking into a scotty cameron because I have always had good luck with them in the past. I have used a studio style 1.5, a circa 62 #2 and loved them both, plus I like the nice little shaft bend in them both.

Question is, should I buy scotty's new studio select 1.5, or stick to either the studio style 1.5/circa 62 #2 which I know I like.

BTW, the studio selects red circles are so dumb looking.

The circa 62 only comes in 35" if that's an issue. btw, I think the cherry bombs look sweet. last year's rainbow colored studio's are an eyesore.

I would go with the old model scottys off ebay, they are generally pretty cheap from there compared to brand new.

get a Ping Zing model. Best putter i have ever hit. But if i was gonna get a new putter i would try one of those new one's over a old model Cameron. I hit them sweet at the local golf show. Just didn't want to drop $350 on a putter.

Personally, I like the Studio style over the studio select. However, you should really decide on your own, and try the select out yourself.

PS- new Custom shop options let you change the cherry bombs to blue or green

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
