NBC (U.S. Open) Commentators

Seen a few posts around from viewers less than impressed with the quality of Paul Azinger's presentation style. Not having had the opportunity to see/hear PA, I wouldn't offer an opinion but I reckon it would be difficult to reach the low quality depths of SkySports Golf  here in the UK.  Here we had to suffer the eternal drivelling of Nick Doherty and Paul McGinley and their boring adulation of Rory McIlroy. I can exclude Rich Beem and Ewan Murray and 'Radar@ Riley from criticism but unfortunately they were far outweighted by the afore-mentioned.  In the end turning the TV volume down to the point of only hearing spectator sound helped. 

Hopefully, there have been enough critical posts on this side of the pond to persuade SkySports to review their golf presentation team before the Open Golf Championship in July, it could only get worse by recalling the dreadful Alison Whitaker.

If I was in the UK watching, I would have suggested to Sky to have Clarkson, May and Hammond announce the tournament.  Welcome aboard.
