It all comes down on what she does on those 7 hours you are playing golf.

My girlfriends told me that years back when she was dating a guy, that didn't do sports, always received complains from him on weekends because she was playing hockey all day long.

When we met each other she was happy to knew that I was also playing golf all day long for the weekends so she was free to play hockey all she wanted. In fact it worked perfectly for 2 years, she was my 1st supporter on my crazy golf grind.

This year everything changed, she started the year with a lot of injuries, also suffered a car crush. All of this didn't let her play on weekends at all and only focus on getting better during the week. That's when she realized she had all that time in her hands to spend on weekends while I was off to the course. She filled time with friends but she wanted to spend time with me also and that's when the complains begun.

If she knew you while you playing golf all weekend long is up to her to accept it or not. Most of them suppose that you are going to leave golf behind for her but most of the times we didn't do that.

If you started paying golf after spending time with her on weekends then she is used to be with you on weekends and she off course is going to resent you for been away that much time, and with reason of course.
