You guys do any core training or anything to help your game? Practice is obviously the best exercise, but I feel like I'd be hitting it longer and straighter if I had a stronger core, so I've been looking into new routines.

forward and side lunges with a medicine ball rotating your upper body's a GREAT one.

trunk chops are a really good one too. (it's like a toe touch with weights on a pulley) strengthen your hams too 1 leg toe touches with weight (balance on 1 leg...take a weight in each hand (I normally do it with light weight...30 - 35 lbs in each hand) and then raise and lower your upper body with the weight hanging down..it's a variation of a "good morning" but on 1 leg.... hanging leg raises with rotation are awesome....and lat pull downs to strengthen your back... that's a good 30 minute workout routine if you superset everything... and throw in jump squats for good measure and a quick cardio burn...

There are several threads on this. My biggest suggestion is do a wide variety of activities...frequently! You can key on specific things to increase core strength but I'm a big believer in overall strength and conditioning. It ALL helps your game.
