Anyone playing one of these? if so what is your opinion. we sell them at work and i cant seem to miss with the 2 bar hybrid. nice putter in my opinion. i just haven't hit it on real grass.

Last year I was at a store and was messing around with the Rife Barbados. Felt really good.

Oh, and by the way, these things are awesome. There are now several PGA Tour players that have put these in their bags. Guess what, Rife has yet to compensate them for playing them. Must be a reason that they are playing them.

I have the center shafted Mallet Hybrid 2008 and it is sweet.

I purchased the new for 08 2-bar Hybrid. It basically looks like the Barbados with the 2bar added to it. I've used it for 3 rounds now. The first round I played with the lighter weights, and didn't have much control. So I switched the weights out. I could see myself dialing in after the 2nd round--i hit probably 5 or 6 from 4 to 8 feet--very solid, center of the cup. Sunday I played and hit 3 or 4 from outside 12 feet, one if which was about 22ft. I'm definitely enjoying my new Rife.

I have been switching putters every couple of months for a long time because I could never find one that had the look and feel combination I liked...I bought a Rife Mr. Beasley model in Jan and I love it. The ball rolls great, and it's perfect for my stroke.

I had the Mallet and the Blade. The mallet was too dull for me. The blade 'felt too hollow' with the lightest weight. I never got used to the heaviest weight. I liked the versatility but I didn't like the feel.

In the end, I didn't need the alignment bars since I use a close intermediate target align with instead of something in the distance.

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
