Just be patient and the birdies will come. When they do come, they will probably come in bunches. I have been playing for about 15 years and only got my first true eagle last year. After I got the first, I got one the very next time out and two or three others after that the rest of the summer. Don't be too worried about it though. You don't have to make birdies to have fun or shoot a good a score.

By the looks of what you did to get those birdie chances was by a good long game, now just work on you putting and you'll be able to make those birdie chances. When you get consistent with your putting you will not only be able to make those birdies but you can start lowering your scores.
