what do u guys think of that....shouldd theyre be a difference in distance or is it repetitive

The 3W is also most likely on a longer shaft, so that plus the loft should mean it's worth probably 10+ yards more.

I sometimes switch off between carrying my 5 wood (18.5) and a 19 hybrid. I get about five yards longer off the fairway with the wood, but I use them very differently. I would never use the 5w out of the rough, and i would never tee a ball up with the hybrid. I also have an iron shaft on my hybrids to play closer to my other irons. There is a lot more than distance that should be used to determine what to put in the bag, in my opinion.

Yeah, like ruckus said, its all about the type of playabillity you want from the club.

I also have a 15* 3 wood and a 16* hybrid, and I am happy that I have them both. Off the ground or a tee I hit the 3 wood 15 yards farther, but the hybrid is good from all lies. I use my hybrid a lot to cover the distance between my 3 wood and my 4 iron, but when the burner tour hybrids come out I might change to an 18* one of those.

I have an old Adams 16* 3 wood that hits longer and completely different than my 16* hybrid. My hybrid is mostly used for longer shots out of the rough but I switched out my 16* 3 wood for a 13* 3 wood.

1 Putter
