Driver loft help?

I currently have an r7 superquad 10.5 loft stiff shaft, stock shaft....the ball goes very high and im losing distance....my swing speed is about 95 mph....should I be playing a lower loft or is there something else that is causing the ball to go so high

There may be a couple of things why the ball is going pretty high. Check to see if your tee height is right. Normally half the ball should be above the face of the driver or even lower than that. Also, your tee position. When you address the ball, check to see where it is relative to your stance. If it's too much inside your left heel, then you might be hitting it too high on the face.

Also, I just recently switch drivers from a 10.5 to a 9.5 loft and added 10 more yards to my drive. It may be because of the driver. My 10.5 driver was a Nike SQ and I switch to a Titleist 907D2. Both had a UST V2 shaft on it. My Titleist ball flight was slightly lower. But I would still go to your local proshop and try out lower lofted drivers to see if you get your desired ball flight.

The best thing would be to get properly fit on a launch monitor. This can tell you the ball speed, spin rate and launch angle of the clubs. Shaft stiffness, kick point, swing speed, head loft and design all play a role in the ball flight. Get fit and let the scientific numbers lead you to longer more consistant drives.
