One quick question first: why would you want to?

Beyond that, a light steel wool works fine. If you want to go softer, go with Soft Scrub and a good rag.

Isn't the whole point of the rough metal wedges TO get them rusty? You'll get 2X the spin with a rusty wedge that you will with a chrome one.

I'm talking extreme wedges with rust.

Can you post a pic? Many people (myself included) will leave wedges outside in the rain for a few weeks before playing them so they get nice and rusty.

Another way is to put the (non chromed) blade in a zip lock with a couple of damp, salty, paper towels for a few days. After a few bunker shots though, the rust sloughs off

I wanted to further rust my Cleveland 588 RTG's. I wrapped a damp rag around it and it got rusty, but with even a washing the rust washed off..?!? I then left it overnight in Coke and it worked really good, but after a washing the rust washed off again. Just letting it rust on it's own now.
