No wonder i could never hit irons when i was 12 years old...

What this demonstrates is how far equipment has advanced....

I took a 10 year leave from playing golf. I was amazed with what technology has developed during that period. In my closet...I still have my original 7 iron from when I was 6 yrs old. Also a muscle backed club.

That's how all irons used to look. I've got my first set of clubs: MacGregor Golden Bears irons and woods. The irons I have now are cavity backs and supposedly "game improvement" irons. I don't notice any difference in how I hit my new ones versus my old ones. The woods though are a different story...

these clubs were my grandfathers old set that my dad had cut down in order to fit me.
