I was in need of a 3 wood for a tournament i was playing in, so i aksed the pro if he had one for me. And since he knows me, he gave me his 3 wood to borrow. Problem is it is in the X Flex, but he said i should be able to hit it. BEWARE THE SHAFT PLAYS WEAKER THAN A REGULAR X. However, it it the best shaft ive seen on any club. All day i hit the fairways with it and stuck one on the green on a 230 yard par 3. This shaft has a great feel, it leads to a high launch and it goes about 10 yards farther than my Aldila NV S flex thats on my three wood. If you have the money for this shaft, definently get it, this shaft will help you hit every shot where you want it to go.

I don't know what VS Proto "By You" you are talking about, but the one made my Aldila IS NOT a high launch shaft, it is a mid-low launch shaft

I wasn't trying to say that this shaft is a high launch shaft, i was just saying that i personally was hitting the ball at a nice high launch angle, which led to more distance. This is just a flat out great shaft that beats all the other shafts in every category.

I have the Aldilla Proto VS "By You" 65x in my Nike Sumo 5000. I don't know if it is Aldilla's new shaft technology or Nike's new driver technology, but that is the longest driver I have ever hit.

Just because a shaft works well for you does not mean you should be recommending that shaft as the shaft to use for everyone else. It's perfectly fine to say you like a shaft, but a shaft that is great for you might be just plain horrible for me and 10 other players reading your comments.

I just purchased the Aldila Proto VS 60 in regular flex for my Hi-Bore. The stiff flex Fujikara in the hi-bore currently has been giving me fits. I guess I just don't have the juice for a stiff shaft.
