I was playing a dead center putter. This putter was probably as old as I am. With my callie I get a more consistent roll, and I'm more confident. It's a well made putter, very attractive, and does the job.

Looking at adding another putter to the stable.

I was just fitted for the Victoria II about four weeks ago. I love it! The weight that it has makes me feel like I am in control of the putter. I was surprised to find out how short I needed my putter but I guess that is the whole point to getting fitted. I always felt like my blade putter was "out of control" when I would swing. This was from the balance of the putter. By switching to the heavy mallet style that Victoria II gave me, It has increased my confidence in my putting. I rarely three putt anymore!

I would highly recommend Yes! Edit: BTW, Victoria II is the heaviest putter Yes! sells.

I thought it felt a bit heavier than the Tiffany.

I've just gone through the process of buying a new putter - had a fitting and all.

Initially I was SURE I was getting a Scotty, but when I went into the store I was all over the practice green. After much much trial and deliberation, I bought a YES! Marilyn. It arrived yesterday and I ended shooting 3 over through 9 at my local. Beat my best previous by 3 strokes! Suffice to say Marilyn gives me great confidence and she'll stay in the bag for years to come.

Or until Scotty brings out his new line...

Looking at adding another putter to the stable.

I went from a two ball putter to a Yes! Callie and putted lights out for about a year and a half. Then I had some bad habits creep in and that all went down the toilet. Trying to rebuilt my putting now but I'm not using the Callie anymore. Will give you a good deal on it if you're interested in a blade style? They are good putters though. Puts a good roll on the ball.

I recently changed to a Yes Donna from a Scottie from a Spider.
What a difference it has made my first and last tourny I played in with it I only 24 putts with it (granted 3 chip-ins!). Before I used to try and putt everything dead weight, now I have the confidence to aim at the back of the hole and give it a bash.

I have just bought a Yes Sandy and after my old Ping Anser the ball seems to come off the putter face better and also sounds and feels better. I thing they are brill.

I had the old victoria model.
I liked it but I found it hard to correctly line up.

Maybe the victoriaII model is easier to line up.

Switched from the Rife Mr. Beaseley and Nike IC 20-15 to the Yes Amy putter. Averaged 2.1 putts before. 1.8 with the Yes Amy putter. Ball does seem to roll better with the Yes putter.

The difference I noticed between my scotty and yes putter was that the scotty had a softer feel and the yes came off the head a bit hotter. Due to this, I use my scotty on sunny days and the yes on rainy/wet conditions. Overall, Yes putters are pretty sweet.

Well i speak from my experience i have both a Yes Callie (back up owned 4 years and current gamer Yes Dawn 34". I have putted the best with the Dawn, it fits my eye the weight is perfect. I know their are a lot of folks that will dismiss the groove technology but for me it works you just have to find the best model that works for you.

MMMMMmmmm Marilyn... best putter I have ever used. The balls rolls immediately at impact and tracts like no putter I have ever used. I will never stray from Marilyn...ever!

I just put my Yes! Callie forged back in my bag this morning. I stumbled across a Yes! Tracy a few years ago and loved it, but I'm such a club ho I kept changing all my clubs out like a bartender trying to make the perfect drink (the Tracy, then a Scotty, then an Odyssey, then the Callie, then a Nike mallet, then back to blades, etc.) until I settled on the blend that worked for me. Which generally means my old Bettinardi BB12 is in my bag, but the Yes! Callie is a sweet sweet putter -- a lot softer feel with the insert, which I find helpful on fast greens.

Just purchased a Yes Sandy mallet this week. It really seems to roll the ball well, feels great and is easy to align. Headed to the course this afternoon to spend some time getting some feel with the new purchase. Looking forward to the softer feel and better roll to improve my results. Time to head for the course.

Regards,

MD916

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
