Steel or Graphite shaft on a hybrid club

Hello everyone.

I am looking at replacing my 3-iron with a hybrid for shots from the rough. Is it better to have graphite or steel? I would think that steel would be better for rough shots due to the increased weight, but I have also heard that some hybrids are designed with graphite in mind and that steel is simply a cost-saving alternative. Any opinions?

In my bag:

Driver: HiBore XL
3-Wood: Insight BUL
5-Wood: Insight BUL

4-Hybrid: Taylormade Burner Rescue

Irons: Big Bertha 2006, 5-PW

GW: CG11 50*

SW: CG11 54* (bent to 55*)

I personally like the graphite better than the steel. I had a steel hybrid once and it felt like it was bending all over the place. Just my opinion.

In the Bag:

I personally like graphite as well... Then again I just started hitting mine.

I've got two hybrids and I replaced both of the graphite shafts with steel shafts. I would never put graphite shafts on my irons and I think the swing on a hybrid is similar to that of an iron.
