What would you guess is your average score? I have a new piece of software and the handicap it's calculating for me doesn't seem right.

I realize that it's also based on where you play, but I'm just trying to get an idea. I'm thinking that I haven't entered enough scores yet for it to be accurate. Thanks!

Eh, depends on the day. When I shoot 88, or 89, its usualy pretty even. Like a 44 front, 44 back. I will have a day where Ill shoot 41, then shoot 47, or vice versa.

I'm a 14.4 and I usually shoot 80-88. The handicap system only counts the best half of your scores. If you don't have 20 scores, your best scores are disproportionatly represtented in the begining. The whole idea of the USGA handicap formula is to measure your potential, not your average score.

My best is 87.. my worst is 96 and all in between on the handicap system.

I only have 13 scores posted.. So is my handicap lower then it should be?

I've been shooting right around 85 lately. I just got my clubs fitted yesterday and I've only been to the range so far. I was hitting better than ever.

I can't wait to hit the course tomorrow and see how I do. Hopefully I'll score my all time high.
