Is newer irons much better s2h2

I recently took golf back up about a month ago and I bought a set of used irons Callaway S2H2 in good condition. They have graphite shafts. I think they were made around 1990. Perhaps next year I am thinking about buying a new set of irons perhaps Nickents or Callaway X14's dont want to spend a fortune. Just wondering what difference if any the new irons would have over my old irons.

With newer clubs comes better technology.

I can highly recommend a set of nickents though. I recently purchased their driver, 3 ironwood, 4 ironwood, and 5-p . All the 4dx model for 425 shipped on ebay. I played them today and I'm in love. Even my uncle playing the G10's said he wants to trade.

Thanks for the reply. I am about 100% sure I will get Nickent irons. I just dont know anyone that plays them personally. Several of my friends plays their hybrids. I have the genex 2 ironwood and flat out love it. Its my go to club. I just can get over how a high handicapper like myself can hit a club so well. I also just bought the 3dx Tour 3 wood. 12 degree. I use it for my driver. It does a good job also. Tommorow I have one of the hybrid 7 woods coming. Love the Nickents. I am glad you like the irons. I'll probably get me a set next year. Thanks
