The hybrid came in from them super quick....this other one is taking longer.

I know it's still within the realm of "normal delievery time" but I've never anticipated a new club like I am with this driver.

I've got a round set up with some friends on Monday and I'm hoping that it comes in well prior.....I'll be working this weekend so practice with it is not a possiblity.

Oh well.....I need more quality time with my 3-wood anyway.

Go Brown.....come on Fex-Ex....bring it on Airborne....whoever it is....get busy!!!

Jeeez that doesnt sound good, I am going to have to get my irons sent in there to be bent when I get them.

Nope...haven't called them....but I have called the golf shop that I bought the club from.

I was in the store on Friday...July 25th. I had stopped in on my way home from playing with some buds. Played 27 holes and my game was pretty fair, but driving the low ball was aggravating me....especially on one hole that requires a forced carry on the tee shot....over some extremely tall swamp grass. Total yardage for me wasn't the problem....it was just the limited distance in the air that was biting my arse.

I decided that enough was enough and that I was enjoying golf enough since picking the game back up in May/June to warrant getting a new driver.

The golf shop apparently didn't place the order with PING until the following Monday......then the wait time began.

The G10 hybrid was ordered through the same shop on a Thursday afternoon and was there the following Wednesday.

That is the problem when you need custom lengths....prepare to wait.

All is well.

I called the PING customer service number that was posted on another thread. Wait time was only a minute or two. The technician was very helpful and tracked the package for me. Delivery to the golf shop is scheduled for tommorrow.

I've got to work some in the morning but the afternoon is gonna be reserved for some range time or maybe sneaking in nine holes. I'm looking forward to the beastliness!!!!

Ping can take quite a while to ship unless they have your color in stock. My friend had to order his color and took about 1 month to ship and when it did ship they shipped the wrong color! wow my friend didnt buy any more ping clubs from there on .

I paid for a new Titleist stand bag, July 11th at my home course pro-shop. I know the merchandise manager pretty well so he sent the order right then and their, I watched him put it in. I then went on a trip to Minnesota (for soccer) for a week (13th-20th) and it was supposed to be shipped on the 16th. Well it is now August 6th and the bag is now not scheduled to be SHIPPED until August 13th

Argghhhhhhhh.

It's frustrating when you finally get up the nerve to pull the trigger and get something but have to wait. Perhaps your bag is getting the course logo embroidered on it......could explain the wait. My dad recently asked for my advice for a good solid stand bag. I told him that I was very pleased with the one in my sig line. He went into his course's pro shop immediately and bought one identical in ever way to mine except his has his course's logo sheild crest on the large Callaway pocket. Very neat feature. The pro told him that he waited an eon for those bags. It's kind of a neat distinguishing feature between my father's bag and mine.

I Feel Your Pain!!!!

I ordered the same exact club on Sunday and I have been sitting at work all week just waiting, waiting, waiting. It sucks becuase my brother just bought an R7 yesterday in store and he got to hit his right away.

Im calling today around 2 to see if Christmas came early.

My son and I are going to head out in a few minutes and play a few holes at the First Tee. He's really coming along with hitting teed up shots. He's also got the smack talking part of the game down pat.

I've got my fingers crossed hoping they'll call me prior to getting to the course.

I want to go ahead so I can catch some PGA tourney coverage later this afternoon.

Again, good luck on your stick. The PING service guy was really helpful tracking this thing.

      Day 27 (7 Dec 25) - Got in a few swings with 9i and hard foam balls in backyard.  Setup weight fwd (rebuilt left foot really lets me feel the weight in a slightly painful way) - kept the backswing to around 9 o’clock focusing on contact and resulting divot pattern.  Like how the hard foam balls come off the face (almost like real balls in sound).  A good abbreviated session as I only able to hit about a dozen balls in the fading light.

      Not the part I was replying to: Handicaps did not go down much (like 0.14 on average IIRC?) when we went from 10/20*0.96 to 8/20. And a good chunk of that was from the +s.

      I think he meant in the UK. The old system was completely different from the new one. 10/20 x 0.96 vs 8/20 would really only impact very low handicaps I think. The 0.96 serves to increase differentials for plus differentials, where 8/20 vs 10/20 works to lower differentials for all. I don't know many plus golfers who would be upset that their index got lower. A lot of really good players don't even really keep their handicaps up-to-date. They're much more interested in their WAGR rankings which get them entries to certain events.

      Day 433 - 2025-12-07 Got some work in after Junior Elite before a night of sports (and the return of my wife!). Backswing work. Similar to what a lot of my juniors are doing.
