I have tried this ball - I'm a Percept fan myself or Bridgestone that is - since they are made by the same company.

This ball came off nicely for me off the tee - but when it came to the irons I kept finding myself a bit short. Personally I prefer the Percept U-Tri. I got more control and distance with these than the Laddies X. But the Laddie X was better priced. But truth be told it really isn't a bad ball - it is a nice ball.

Cool. I figured for the price the Laddie Xs were worth a shot.

Very much so. I found these to be excellent balls. They performance was very consistent: great distance, soft feel compared to other "distance" balls, nice off the putter, predictable around the greens and the price is simply awesome by any standard.

The fellow with whom I played regularily used the Laddie X ball. He plays to somewhere between a 7 to 10 handicap. He likes the the ball a great deal. He's long off the tee with that ball and he is able to stop the ball on the green. I must say that, in this case especially, his success using this ball is more the indian than the arrow. However, he plays this ball by choice, not neccessity, and that alone is an endorsement.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Ive always hear great things about Bridgestone balls and since Precept is owned by Bridgestone I kinda figured they would be pretty good, but its still good to hear exeriences from people who have played this ball.
The price was the biggest selling point for me. With where my game is at now, I tend to lose at least 1 or 2 balls per round. So, I naturally dont see the sense in going out and spending big $$$ for a premium ball.
Anyways, thanks again, its much appreciated.
