What the hell was going on last night?

So I log in today and theres loads of threads spammed up pointlessly and some old threads have been resurrected against their will. If theres one thing I can't stand, its spam. Especially on a decent forum like this, where spamming is usually so rare. I've reported some of the offending posts.

I don't know. Someone took issue with the fact that I'm not going to add some sort of "seller feedback" any time soon and created a username that's since been removed. Stupid thing is the dolt posted 20 times when access to the Marketplace requires 25 posts AND 30 days of membership.

Additionally, perhaps the same user or maybe someone else, seems to have posted a bunch of crap. Thank you to those who reported it - all admins and moderators have the power to act on such messages, and they did, before I was awake to see it.

Yeah, I got up at 4 this morning to put my dogs out and logged in while waiting for them to come back in the house. I'm glad I did because there was crap all over the place. Thanks to the people who reported it, and thanks to Jay B for helping name the names of the spammers. It made things a lot easier to handle.
