How tall are you and are your clubs standard length?

You are very very bent over at address.

You do need some clubs that fit you. Being bent over that much, and having only a down the line view makes analysis difficult, but here’s what I see.

Backswing and swing plane look okay, but it looks like you have made your downswing only with your arms and hands. At impact, your body has not turned much past its address position. In the downswing, your body movements must lead your arms and hands.

Here is a link to a free website that explains in great detail the total body golf swing that is used by most pros: http://perfectgolfswingreview.net/index.html

The main part of this site is a compilation from several well known instruction books. It is good except for the downswing keys given. The left shoulder is a much better swing key that works for the entire swing as advocated in “The Golf Swing and It’s Master Key Explained” by Noel Thomas. This book also has good explanations of extension and timing. It’s not free, but the e-book is only $6.00 with a money back guarantee. Just search Google for the title.

I hope this is helpful.

Yes, I use a bit the arms on the downswing, I'm ttrying to limit that. Anyway the shaft couldn't be parallel to the right forearm if I only use my arms. It would be as my old 8 months ago swing. Take a look.

You maintain posture pretty well. You are bent over a lot but depending on how you hit the ball, you don't necessarily need a drastic change. One thing I noticed on the last picture with the ball already on it's way is that you have very little hip turn. Your hips should be way more open at that point.

I have to agree with jambalaya. We should see two-cheeks by the time the head of the club reaches the ball for impact.

    • Day 1: After a long practice layoff due to injury, vacation, winter darkness, and work stuff, I'm trying to start back up again. Today I just hit balls with keys from my lesson 6-ish weeks ago; neutral grip and centered turn. Gonna work with that for a few weeks, see how it goes, and then get a lesson scheduled.
    • It’s not live on free to air tv in the UK, and hasn’t been since 1995. ( I pay a subscription to Sky for generally good golf coverage). There are limited highlights on the BBC for some golf events, but that’s it. Are other/all PGA events on NBC?  Allowing ticket scalping is a systemic failure across sports and showbiz, which could be legislated against, but in the UK is not in any meaningful way. I don’t know much about the secondary market in the US or anti scalping measures.  Charging more to keep prices down is an interesting concept, in practice no doubt you are right even if It sounds a bit Catch 22  Do you think sports tickets and broadcast rights  should be sold on a purely capitalist basis, or is there an argument to say that some sports might benefit more from wider exposure and affordable access. ( golf in the US is apparently not one of these if tickets sold out at those prices so quickly)  Fans might benefit from cheaper tickets and in the UK at least, TV coverage that reaches a wider audience.
