I really like Golfsmith and I know about Golfworks/Maltby. But are there any other QUALITY component companies that you really like??

I know there are quite a few on the internet, but I'm cautious if I've never talked to anyone that has used the equipment.

Hey right now I am playing a snake eyes hybrid (I got it through golfsmith). It is probably the leading golf component company and I recommend all of their clubs. I built my iron set by myself (which is really fun) and you get to pick the shaft, clubhead, and the grip. But if you don't feel comfortable with that, you can always buy them prebuilt.

Snake eyes is a quality golf component brand and they are much better than the golfworks or Maltby. Just go to the golfsmith website and go to the clubmaking section and under the clubheads, you will find snake eyes club heads.

In my Bag-

Thanks, but I said I was aware of Golfsmith and Golfworks. Are there any other alternative quality golf component companies that anyone else has used?

I realize that Snake Eyes is good equipment, I just didn't know if there was more variety out there?

The Dynacraft line (now part of Hireko) has always had a good reputation, although I can't say I've used them. I've always been leary of not being able to hold the clubhead in my hand and examine it prior to purchase.

I understand the guy that was running Dynacraft prior to the buyout is now in charge of club design for all or Hireko's lines. It will be interesting to see if they can mount a challenge to Golfsmith when it comes to quality components.

I know Hireko OEM's a lot of the clubheads used by "clone" club makers, so it will be interesting to see if they can continue to do that and also be a "quality" component company.
