Ribbed grips....what's the difference???

Recently started looking around at maybe replacing my grips.

I noticed that Golf Pride offers both ribbed and non-ribbed versions of the Decade multi compound grip. Same on a couple other model of corded grips I was looking at.

What is the difference?????

I couldn't see any difference on their webpage and the local golf shops couldn't tell me either.

Any ideas?????


It's time for some new grips and just wanted to understand the options avalilable to me.

Ribbed grips have a ridge on the back that help you grip the club the same way every time as the ridge sits in the creases of your fingers. Non-ribbed grips are perfectly round.
