Well lately ive been takin my brother golfin (hes 11) hes only played about three times and already shot two pars, He is doing pretty good with his drives too. (a lot better than i was when i started out) but heres the thing he is thinking about trying out for the middle school team (hes in 6th grade) but right now he is using my first set of clubs that i used to use, they are a Ram junior beginners set, all it has is a driver, a short, medium and long iron, and a putter. Yeah i know, wierd. Well we were playin today and ran into a friend who is pretty good and he said that they have a junior set with all the clubs he needs at walmart for $100. does anybody know anything about these or where he can get a good juniors set for around $100

Its not always how you drive the ball, but how it arrives.

Look into the Nike Eagle Silver line. More than $100 for a set though. It comes with D, 3W, 5i, 7i, PW, Putter. I learned with those clubs and loved them. Driver head is a little small for today's standards. You could always get a junior 460cc driver on ebay from either Young Gun or Hunter Matrix (i think, that's what my bro has).

I learned with U.s Kids clubs, and they are some really good clubs for what you pay, like the nikes , a little over 100$, but theyre a really good set for kids to learn with.

My son has been playing US kids golf club since he was 7 years old, he's now 13 year old and almost ready for adult clubs. Get your parents involved and check out Ebay and Junior golf, they have many selections, but make sure that he is fitted like US kids golf does. I would consider talking with the golf coach is see if he has extra club that might work for your brother. Nice job looking after your younger brother.

Here's a pretty inexpensive set of Cleveland clubs, only 5 clubs, but that is more than the Cougar set.

edit: the shipping is kinda high, though...

Ooh, how about this? It says there are 5 clubs even though only 4 are shown.

Ram has a whole different line for the UK, you probably can't get them here and the shipping would probably kill the deal.

Here's a Ram 6 club set that you can get from Sports Authority for just slightly more than your budget.

    • Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…

    • Only ever used ShipSticks and never had a problem. It's really nice because you can ship to anywhere not just courses.  No matter what you use, I take the extra care of the clubs and wrap them in something before putting them in your bag and into the shipping box.

If I leave any short or they go to far and fall off the rug, I restart.  Focusing on speed and hitting my mark 3 inches in front of me. Trying to gain consistency and discipline in all aspects of my putting game.
