My father in law plays them and I have hit them before. They look and play just like blades to me, but are very lightweight. He says they are more forgiving. I dont know about that. I only used them for one round. But they are very nice looking clubs. Like I said, they are really light weight which was nice to me.
As far as the limited edition thing goes. He says they are and I have heard that before. But I think it is one of those things that you see sometimes. They are limited edition to just how many they can sell.

I have a set, they are really solid, and yes they are Limited Edition, and unlike what Birdieman said, there were only X amount of sets made (can't remember how many). One of my coaches who plays Taylormade Forged TP irons, hit my Nickents and he said they felt just as good as his Taylormades.

Here's what I play:

Titleist 907 D2 10.5* UST ProForce V2 76-S | Titleist 906F4 18.5* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist 585H 21* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist ZB 4-PW TTDG S300 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 54.10 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 60.08 | Scotty Cameron Red X5 33" |
