How do you ship your Scotty????

Just wondering how you package, ship and insure your Scotty when you send it back for customizing????


Considering one of these putter and can think of some neat stuff I'd like to have done to it....college initials......dates......etc.

IF and WHEN I do it would be insured USPS. Maybe UPS but I see some problems with them at work more often then the postal service.

Most shipping stores have the triangle shaped long boxes and you can use and the putter can be bubble wrapped for protection along with buying insurance.

I would do it in one of those long boxes - plenty of air packet thingy's (lol), bubble wrap, newspaper..just pack it nice and tight. And insure it.

I just sent mine (SSN 2.5) in two days ago. I wrapped the head in newspaper. put in in a long vertical box, and put that box inside a slightly bigger long vertical box. Sent it UPS ground with insurance.

torch the head and pull the shaft, you'll save money on shipping charged and its really easy to wrap the clubhead

They return it in a sweet Scotty Cameron yellow box. You can choose your shipping method from them (ground, two-day or next day air.)
