I got the Forged 2005 Rac set today and they are nice!

It turns out that they are +1/2" the same as the demo club I hit and liked so much. The grips are in good condition. They are Taci Mac or something like that.

The clubs look really nice at address with the thin top line. I grabbed a couple of hit away balls from the shag bag and knocked them out into the field at a target, nice and straight with the stiff shaft even with a cold swing.

They seem easier to hit then my OS2 set and feel smoother.

Love them!!! I shot a 92 today the first time out with them. Bad putting and bad tee shots cost me the sub 90 round.

The irons are a breeze to hit! Out of all the iron shots maybe 10% didn't feel and sound great. I was much straighter and I actually hit my 3 iron off the tee for the last nine hole. The 3 iron with roll was going about 220 according to my GPS. Club distances where very similar to the OS2 set but the ball flight was lower. On the 9th hole par5 I decided to try and fade my second shot with the 3 iron. I aligned my body a little right, pointed the club face to the flag and hit a real nice little draw that ended in the center of the fairway. One thing I have to get used to is the loft of the irons around the greens for chip shots and bump and run shots. The pitching wedge is 48 instead of 45 and the 9 iron is 44 instead of 41 so I left a few way short for long putts. All in all I would give them 5 out of 5

    • Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…

    • Only ever used ShipSticks and never had a problem. It's really nice because you can ship to anywhere not just courses.  No matter what you use, I take the extra care of the clubs and wrap them in something before putting them in your bag and into the shipping box.
    • Practicing my putting after work. I put five balls on the carpet and a mug on the other side. Once I make 3 out of 5 I can stop. If I leave any short or they go to far and fall off the rug, I restart.  Focusing on speed and hitting my mark 3 inches in front of me. Trying to gain consistency and discipline in all aspects of my putting game.
