I'm looking at entertaining some perspective clients in Greenville, SC. Being from Chicago and never playing in Greenville,...what are some nice courses that would really impress someone? Money is really not a factor.

I have played a few courses in the area, but nothing has been spectacular.

I live in anderson about 30 minutes away. The Greenville country club is probably the nicest in downtown greenville. Th chanticlear course used to be in the top 100 in the USA, dont know if it still is. If you dont mind a drive, the cliffs courses are definitely the nicest around, but they are probably 45 minutes to an hour away set in the mountains. Awesome courses.

      Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
