I just got a new hybrid (4i replacement) and as soon as I addressed the ball with it I noticed that in my normal address position the toe is way up in the air, I basically have to angle my wrists down to get it to a normal position. Is this normal, and if not is it possible to take it to Golfsmith and have them adjust the lie angle?

Anyone? I just need to know if it's possible to have a club fitter (like Golfsmith) adjust my lie angle.

Why don't you err on the side of caution, and bring it back anyway to allay your concerns? GS is a reputable outfit, so this should very quick and painless. Plus, while you're there, check out similar clubs to see what's up with them.

One final thing - leave your wallet in your car, or with someone else, because it's too tempting to not buy something else in those stores (must be the smells and lights).

why did you buy it without trying it out?

It was an online sale, kind of hard to try it out when buying online.

So are you guys saying it's not possible to adjust the lie angle on a club?
