Hi guys,

I am thinking of giving these irons a chance. Great reviews everywhere I look. As long as I love the mp-60, I want to get below a 15 soon, and I feel the Wilsons may give me a better chance.

Anybody hit them? Can you help me with insight? What about the flex? I am thinking about going regular for distance and for my shoulder ( dislocated it mountain biking about 2 years ago, before I started golfing).

1. are they awkward because of the longer shaft?

2. do they make a 3 iron? Wilson says no, some websites apparently are selling the 3 iron.

Haven't tried them but I would try to find a local dealer to give them a "test drive".

Wilson web site says they make a 3 iron in the CI7.

I play the CI6's, the last generation. The new one is similar, just a little more forgiving. It has a lightweight shaft, so if you play a heavier shaft you might prefer it with dynamic gold etc. My clubs have suited me very well, I can work them enough, the gap between PW and GW was a little much so I had the PW bent 1 degree weak. Really only the wedges are longer shafted than usual because PW through LW are all the same length. With 5 degree loft differences that still means about 15 yard gaps for me.

FYI, Wilson CI6 irons in graphite are marked down to $199 at Carls Golfland .
