Have you had your putter adjusted or did you special order it a certain way in regards to loft and lie.

Mine are 4 degrees loft and 71 degree lie angle...standard from factory.

You should always have the loft/lie and length of your putter adjusted to fit you. Golfers today have their launch angle, clubhead speed, ball speed, loft, lie all measured and tested on a computer, yet they expect to just grab a putter off the rack and roll a few balls on the carpet in the store to pick a putter.

Fit the putter to your stroke. My 1955 Macgregor M2 putter is 35.5 inches long with 5.5* of loft

I'm gonna game my new wand for a while at the factory 4 deg. loft and see how it goes. If I make any changes there it will be to add a degree.

Wilsonsrbest, you make a great point about the lengths we'll go to to get fitted for full swing stuff....but not get as specific or precise with our flatsticks.

Pulling the back/lat muscle has been a great thing for me....I stayed away from full swings and just focused on the short stuff. I hope to continue this focus after healing up properly.

I also have Yes! putters (Tracy, Callie). I switched to the Utley method this year and I think I need to flatten my lie angle and increase my loft. I wonder why Yes! putters have only 2 degrees of loft. I imagine it has to do with the teeth on the face.

I wondered about the 2 degree thing as well. I suspect, as you stated, that it's related to the C-grooves.

standard lie angle (even though i'm actually 0.1º upright lol) and 3.5º of loft.

BTW, when i ordered my custom odyssey putter, it came with literally 0º of loft and that had to be adjusted.

MAKE SURE TO GET FIT FOR YOUR PUTTER AND HAVE IT ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY!!
