No I didn't, I don't see your link, could you post it again as I would like to see it. And I would like to drop my putts per round to more around 30 since I do hit lots of greens, its just that a few hole I screw up and make a bad number, plus I am not a good putter, and most of my 3 and 4 putts come from missing 2 and 3 foot putts. I have been doing the Phil Mickleson putting circle from 3 feet and my putting has improved greatly and I know have a scoring average in the 70's. I just need to get all of my shafts fitted and such and then I feel my game will get to scratch by next year.

Here it is.

Here it is.

Thanks, I am going to read it now and reply about it after.

*EDIT* I just read that article and it is very interesting and a great read, thank you for that. I would like to say that my big goal is to play on Tour, but I realize it is very hard to make a living out there, but I do have a backup plan, and if tour doesn't work out I plan to either work for a company or own my own golf shop. While hopefully having a very successful amateur career.

Here's what I play:

Titleist 907 D2 10.5* UST ProForce V2 76-S | Titleist 906F4 18.5* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist 585H 21* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist ZB 4-PW TTDG S300 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 54.10 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 60.08 | Scotty Cameron Red X5 33" |

I thought this was done with - but it doesn't matter. I respect your views.

I'd like to chime in here.

not against 907 at all or directed toward him, but I do agree with you lefty. I find almost every kid with a low handicap seems to want to play PGA and believes they can make it. Okay maybe some can, but 99% of them won't. They just get their hopes up and get ahead of themselves. Most juniors think they are better than they really are. I'll be straight up here, it makes me laugh. Sure, I have an okay handicap and I am actually proud to say I am one of the few that actually have come to reality and know I DO NOT have a future in golf. Which I'm okay with, I don't get ahead of myself and start guaranteeing golf scholarships to my friends, or talk about how good my golf coach is, or get angry at a 78. All of this stuff really grinds my gears.

In my opinion if you have a dream go for it, if someone thinks your silly it should make you work harder.

I have my own goals/dreams and keep them to myself but I would never listen to someone who didn't think I could do what I wanted to do, I know this argument is over but I believe if you want something enough and are willing to put the work in there is no reason why you could not achieve something and if you don't make it, you can say you gave it your best shot.

I'd like to chime in here.

If your younger its great to have dreams of becoming a golf pro or a pro in anything for that matter. What do you want them to say, I cant wait to graduate from college and work in a cubical. The problem is when they hit their late 20s and still have this dream and are living in their parents basement. The hard work you put in helps build character for later in life.

“I’ve often dreamed of becoming a golf club.”

What was the name of the character who said that in Caddyshack?

Just wondering, that’s a serious piece of minutia.

This isn't the "doable or not" thread, I hope some of you realize... Actually, you seem not to have, so I'm closing the thread. EJ and L3PM seem to have gotten bored with each other by now anyway, thankfully.
