Pebble or Dunhill Pro Am?

In which would you rather play? It would be a very tough call for me.

Pebble has more "A" list player and celebrities (although the quality of celebs has certainly fallen off in recent years). Pebble and Spyglass are great courses (probably in my top 50 in the world) and Poppy Hills is very good. It also gets more media attention.

Dunhill has even better courses the Old and Kingsbarns are in my top ten, maybe even top five, and Carnoustie is avery fine links. It has better pubs and a bit more camraderie. As strange as it sounds, it also has better weather than pebble during rainy season. Links are also more fun to play in any weather.

A few years ago I would have said Pebble, but now I think I would go with The Dunhill.

Its Dunhill for me every time. Its just across the water and I've never really been a massive fanboy of Pebble beach...

It would be Pebble Beach for me. Don't know anything about the other, however. But just walking along the course at Pebble was the best golfing experience I have ever had. And I didn't even take a shot. I can only imagine what it's like to play it.

Dunhill - playing 3 of the best links in the world over playing one - i'm a fan of Pebble Beach but golf wouldn't be golf without the waterproofs and wooly hat for me!

Dunhill for me. I grew up in Pacific Grove and played Pebble many times, so the Dunhill would be a new experience.

      Definitely not a favorite… For some reason my wife and I started watching Cobra Kai. I know the original was pretty cheesy, but the inability of these people to get over shit that happened like 30 years ago is astounding. And these kids would be arrested, but they don’t even seem to get suspended from school. Would Danny not notice that Johnny’s son looks like Johnny? Etc.? Why would a completely different dojo that has the same name be “banned”? Oy. Not sure we’ll make it to season 2.

      Day 139 - 2025-02-16 Weather led to a rescheduled GEARS lesson, so I used the time to work on my swing for 60 minutes or so. All downswing stuff. Some swings at 93 MPH. Most around 75-80.
