I just got home today from a days worth of golf. I just got lessons from Matt Killen. For those of you who dont know who he is he is the golf teacher for Kenny Perry, JB holmes, Shaun Micheel, and other PGA Tour players. Then went to kenny Perry's course and played.

He game me a lesson that was only 30 minuets long but my game improved more in those 30 minuets than in an entire golf camp I have been in before.

He I immediately played 18 holes after the lessons and went from being a bogey player to making several pars and birdies. If you ever get the chance and are in kentucky I strongly suggest you go to old stone course and get lessons.

The Club is awesome too I mean it is so nice that the range balls there are NXT tours. Do yourself a favor and go spend a day their.

Glad to hear it went well for you.

Won't be in Kentucky anytime soon, but if you don't mind me asking, what did he charge for a 30 minute lesson? Seems like he has quite the resume, so was just wondering what a pro like that might charge.

I would love to get a lesson from a guy like that. Golf Digest talked about it in their money issue last month. Said one of the best deals in golf is to find the young up and comer who isn't charging ridiculous fees for lessons yet.

I got is as a gift he usually charges 130 but if you get like 11 or 12 lessons he will cut you a pretty good deal cant remember exactly what is was. Something like $1000.

His lessons are great I have never had a better one. Once you get to the club you drive for a while in a golf care and he has his own little set with his own personal practice green then in a garage type of area with the doorsup he has about 4 mats set up and you hit NXT tour range balls in to a driving range with greens about as nice as they are on the course. He has all of the state of the art equipment like cameras that track your swing path and other stuff. He lets you hit a couple times then brings you to the computer and shows you what you are doing wrong what you are suppose to do then demonstrates it and finally he gives you drills to practice when you are out on the range that help allot. He even compares you with pros. I remember my problem was my set up more than anything and he compared mine to Tiger Woods and showed me what I was suppose to do. My dad says he was amazed Because he was watching the screen and when he told me what to do my dad said my stance looked almost Identical to tiger's. and I got to be In the same room as JB's Putters
