For a r7 Shallow 8.5 tour issue almost mint driver with a Diamana 63 gram stiff with regular R7 headcover and wrench...$375? A guy at my local shop is selling it.

If that club just happens to perfectly fit your specs (shallow face, stout shaft, 8.5° of loft) then it's an OK deal. If you're buying it just to have a "tour" club but should be playing a driver with a softer shaft or more loft, then I'd say it's not a very good deal.

But, like you said, life is short.

Found them for sale on craigslist and they would fit me well. Posting says they are in very good condition with golf pride tour wrap grips.

You're going from a 10.5 reg to a 8.5 stiff? Doesn't sound like the club fits you.

Is it used or new? If you really want this club there are many like it on Ebay and I think you can get them for less. Good luck. I love my 510TP!!

He wants $200 for them, which is about at the roof of what i'm looking to spend. I'm also a little apprehensive about buying clubs almost 13 years old..

i had the big bertha 96's with graphite shaft and i loved them i just stopped playing with then about 3 months ago cause i bought new titleist ap1's..... trust me you wont be disappointed they are great clubs very forgiving and feel very soft

valueguide.pga.com says retail price for a set of steel shafted '96 BB irons would be $160, add about $30 for graphite shafts. Everything on Craigslist is negotiable.
