Just to be clear in this thread for anyone that reads it, really consider that I'm a mid handicapper that has been playing for 2+ years. My review was based on moving up from G5s which I guess is a step up with a club like a AP2, MP, etc.

That's an important thing to consider. I didn't like the MP-52s much, but I'm not really in their target audience. Someone similar to you should give your thoughts a lot more weight than mine, in general.

Heck, what the hell do I know...lol. Everyone's input is definitely valuable. I think when anyone here checks out these clubs, take into consideration the handicap of the person giving the review.

Ultimately, a low handicap is where we want to be. Maybe with Erik's opinion, I may end up seeing what he mentioned on the MP52s and trade them in for AP2s I have just heard so many great things about Mizunos and I'm truly happy. Although their apparel line is weak! e

I'm playing with them tomorrow, but was at the range again practicing on the grass. For a mid-handicapper, this club is amazing! If you have game improvement irons, you have to check the difference on these semi-blades. A clean shot will give you such a pure feel.

      Day 4 (12 Mar 26) - nine hole session with grandson - played along side him from most fwd tees with seven  club setup -D,7w, 5,7,9,55° and putter.  Worked with him on his green side approach play.  Had some great shot making opportunities on my own, best part was seeing him make solid swings.
