A Circa 62 No. 1

It was my favorite of all the Scotty, Nike, and Odyssey putters I demo'd at Golf Galaxy and my girl went out and picked it up for me!

It really does feel nice when you stroke it pure and having it in 35" over my 33" hand me down putter is actually pretty dang nice.

I love mine, as im sure you will too. i cut mine to 33 1/2, but 35 wworks for alot of ppl.

best of luck, bad timing tho, (atleast around here, i doubt i will be playing any time soon :/)

I also have a Circa 62 no.1. It's my favorite of the Circas. I also like the no. 2, though.

driver: FT-i tlcg 9.5˚ (Matrix Ozik XCONN Stiff)

I realize SC's can seem kinda spendy by a lot of folks, but what boggles my mind is the argument that 300 dollars is too expensive for a putter.

Yet, HALF of golfers spend that much on a new driver every 2 - 3 years, if not more often than that.

The putter is the most important club in your bag in my opinion. Why not get a good one?

congratulations as well! i have the Circa #3, but I don't use it because of one the finish and second because it's a little light after I cut it down to a 34". I was really trying to find an asia spec one that's 340g 34" but couldn't, so i bought the studio select!

The length of the Circa series is right on target for me.....love 'em.

I just sold a Circa '62 #1 on here :) I loved the putter, but it was just too long for me. I am 6'1 but prefer a 33"

I agree with you, my dad told me, how can you spend 300 dollars for a putter and I told him that it was the most important club in my bag. Regards!

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…

      I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
