Former PGA Tour winners Monday Qualify for Fry's Open

Greetings ....

When you win a PGA Tour event, it can seem like you're on top of the world. But when you don't win again, and then fall from the ranks of those fully exempt, you find yourself looking back up at the heavens from your lowly position.

Times have certainly gotten tough for former PGA Tour event winners Ryan Palmer and Glen Day. Both had to go through Monday Open Qualifying , and earned spots in the 132-man field at this week's Fry's.Com Open .

Good luck to both gentlemen, as well as to the other 130 entrants in the field .

I enjoy these fall series events. It's nice to see some of the guys that get ignored most of the year.

Good luck to them. I like watching the guys on the cusp of 125 as the season winds down. High pressure for the guys who may not have a place on Tour next year.
