907d2 Shaft

After looking for a few weeks for the perfectly priced driver, I think I have made up my mind. I plan on purchasing a new 907d2 on ebay for about $180, and am just stumped on which shaft to get. My swing speed is mid-high 90's, and I am only 15 and getting much stronger. Average drives go about 255. This head seems appealing, and I just need help choosing a shaft. No local stores have the 907d2 heads with all shafts, so hopefully you guys can help me out. My trajectory is about mid, and I have the following shafts to choose from:
Diamana Blueboard
Aldila VS Proto
UST Proforce V2

Any help regarding which shaft works best with this head and best for my above swing qualities would be great. Thanks a lot.

All of those shafts are meant for higher swing speeds(95+ mph). They are stiffer than what a normal stiff shaft would play and require a strong player to swing them effectively. I have no idea how you swing a driver, but it requires strength. The torque is low and will twist less than normal at impact.

MY ADVICE: Buy the driver with whatever shaft you like, but invest the money in getting fitted because there is no point of having a driver you can't swing efficiently.

A good shaft for a 15 year old would be a GD Ys6 shaft because it has a softer shaft and higher kickpoint.

I've been carrying like 265 lately, and I'm still playing a ys-6 regular and I love it. I'm just think of switching to a cobra, just to get some extra yards and drive a couple par 4s. I love the ys-6 its a great shaft for me at least. 180 is quite a bit for a d2 nowadays, at my club they're like 175 new and they're prices are usually exorbitant. I would say you can find way cheaper, but I would try to hit whatever you can wherever has the d2, as just see if you like anything you hit. But you sound perfect for the ys-6. good luck!

Thanks a lot. I'll be sure to get fitted for a shaft, and since my usual shop does not have many 907's(i think 1), I'll have to drive an hour to an Edwin Watt's I know fits Titleist clubs. I will also take the stiffness of the shafts into consideration.

I think the biggest thing is what you are looking for in a shaft.

My swing speed is about the same as yours and I'm 15 too . But I was losing distance to a high launch angle and 3500+ RPM so I went with the V2 because it is the 75g model, and it brought my launch angle down, and also brought my RPM to below 3000.

But here is a general description of the shafts from my experience. (When I got fit for mine, I hit the driver with every shaft they offer in R, S, and X)

• Diamana Blueboard- Plays the softest of the 3 shafts when comparing to others but is still very stable. Has a mid launch with a bit more spin, over all a solid shaft. (What else would you expect from MRC?) If you want to keep your launch the same, but get a bit more carry this is the shaft for you.
• UST Proforce V2- Some people complain that it doesn't have enough feel, but IMO it is fine. It is also a mid launch shaft, but Titleist has the 75 gram version for stock, so this brings your launch down a hair, but it is a real spin killer. Which if you are like me and have 3500+ RPMs then this is perfect for you.
• Aldila VS Proto "By You"- Feels the stiffest out of the 3, as well as the lowest launching. I have this on my hybrid, and 5 wood, and I feel it is low launch with pretty low spin. Since this is the 60 gram version, it spins about as much as the V2, but that is still pretty low. If you need real low launch and low spin this is for you.
