What can you tell me about the ys-6 shaft?

This is the shaft that came in my 905 R . It's a ys-6 stiff shaft. What can you guys tell me about this shaft? What does it promote. What swing speed is needed to best utilize that shafts ability, things of that nature. Thanks!

It is for a slower tempo, if you have a quick tempo, it has a tendency to go left, so it forces me to slow down my swing and make it a bit more controlled, which is why i like it in my 3 wood.

If its stiff, you should be swinging around 95-100 MPH with it, but if you load the shaft agresivly, that will affect it alot more than stiffness.

For medium tempo, smooth swinger, I have the stiff versions in both my driver and 3 wood. Similar to the NVS.

It's a good shaft. Pretty stable even if you get after it a bit. I like it a lot in my 983E - a good match of head and shaft. Fairly tip soft I think so it feels pretty good. Mid kick point - mid launch. As Laxplayer says though, if you're a quick tempo swinger you might not find it the best fit.
