I am thinking about offering an HD video session on 9 holes at my local course. Record all the player's in game swings, one or two angles, edit it together and Burn it to DVD. The player can use it for further analysis.

Not sure what to charge, the full rate would be way to expensive so I am trying to figure if this is even worth my time?

We've taken video cameras out on the course before. With four people, there's always someone who can man the camera. The few times we did it, our rounds were not as good as normal, as we played to the camera and goofed off alot.

I would target this to the serious golfer looking to analyze his swing over and over. It would be professionally done, I just have a feeling it would be too expensive for the average golfer.

I think that would be a really cool idea. You are talking 2.5 hrs of your time, just on teh course, so it would have to be pretty expensive by the time you edited and burned it. I think it would be a great gift idea for the golfer who has everything though......

Give it a shot!
