I hit Adams irons/hybrids, but the 2H I ordered is looking like it might not show up anytime soon. I've always hit the Nike Hybrids well and have been thinking about getting the Nike Sumo2 Hybrid instead of waiting. Has anyone hit the 17* Hybrid? Good, bad, ugly?

Thanks!

I have tried them out though not extensively, while the square look at address did not bother me the more than generous amount of offset did.

I actually played with a Nike Sumo 2 Square hybrid that was given to me for a while and really liked it off tee and fairway, but hated it out of rough. It was just too big and bulky. It 'looked' like a fairway wood, which bothered me, and it seemed to get caught in the thicker rough too much. With that said, it depends on what shots you want it for. It is more forgiving than most hybrids, but I only found it helpful on good lies. But that may just be me...

I own the #2 and #3 nike sumo squared hybrids and have since they first came out. Honestly these will be the only nike clubs I keep in my bag when I have fully upgraded.

Off the deck and off the tee I hit both solidly. I will agree with the statement about the thicker rough. Light rough it is fine if you need some serious distance, but anything with a bit of thickness an iron will play better out of.

Thanks for the good replies. Most appreciated. I'm looking at a 2H so the rough *shouldn't" be a factor..... And I play Adams, so the offset should be OK too.. Sometime not being very good has its advantages.
