Seeing as my driver is old and brutal compared to most on the market, I'm in the market for a new one. I went to golf town yesterday and went on a marathon, hitting 30 or so shots with each of the following: cobra speed pro D, L5V, r7 limited, callaway hyper x tour, 909 D2, and 909 D3.

Needless to say, I worked up one hell of a sweat.

Onto my point: all of these drivers were good, but had flaws (some set up a little too closed, sound off, aren't balanced to my liking, feel tinny, etc.). That is except the 909 D3. My god is that thing like heaven on a stick. Sounds great, sets up more open than the rest, feels great, is well-balanced; I can't say enough about it. This thing is definitely making it's way into my bag in the near future.

Anyone else like this thing as much as I did?

In the market for a new driver, then my bag will be the shiz.

You're obviously a better golfer than I, but I also liked the D3 when I hit it. If I'm not mistaken it's a 440cc driver, which I preferred over the current 'mailbox' drivers on the market. I really liked the trajectory I got with this driver and the overall ball flight. I couldn't really find a fault with it (other than I would have to pay for it - my sponsorship with Titleist has yet to materialize).

I have hit both the 909D3 and the 909D2... the D3 had the Voodoo shaft and the D2 had the Diamana Blueboard, both stiff flex... liked them both, I am going to a fitter this Saturday to try to get dialed in on the right model... currently hitting the 905R 9.5 degree with Grafalloy Blue stiff

I think it was the voodoo. It was a stiff flex and a heavier shaft (I think 70 or 75 grams), which probably had a lot to do with how much I liked the club.
