Can't spin the wedges

I agree with denver nuggets you do not have to have to be able to spin the ball just let it roll to the hole. It is all about your swing though i can back up and 6 iron with normal grooves and a topflight. And i do think that the spin doctor wedges seem fun but i would try to learn to strike the ball first then ground and if you cant do that giver and buy the spin doctor.

Spin helps with trajectory and distance control.

You spin the ball by trapping it... hitting down on the ball and pinching it against the ground. You can spin the ball a little when scooping it, but the reason the pros can spin the ball a lot when they want to is the trapping/compression from a solid strike.

Pinch down on a ProV1 with a Vokey spin milled and see what happens. The ball is 75% and the wedge is 75% of the equation.

solid contact with good club head speed with high spin ball = ball spin, it also helps if you hit on a upslope. its also easier to hit on a tee up ball on a short par three.

you can also spin the ball side ways if you draw the ball
