I was looking on e-bay and saw Nitro golf balls. Has anyone ever used them? If so, how do they play?

I used to buy Nitro balls back in the mid Nineties when I first picked up the game.

I remember them being long as heck compared to some of the Ultra (wound) balls in their price range.

They seemed a bit hard at the time.

Fast forward 15 years to now....I have no clue how their stuff plays. I'd believe they are a budget distance ball but this is based on limited exposure to their current stuff. I don't know anyone playing them but you can uncover all sorts of gems by trying new things. I risked a grand total of $14 to blindly try a dozen of the balls that have become my current favorite.

Take a chance and see.

Great value. My faves are about the same in price as the D2s.
