I believe I have been a member of this forum in "good standing" long enough that I can post a message like this, and not break the rules of the forum.

My Saturday traveling golf league (The Cleveland Industrial Golf League) is gearing up for our 76th seasons "winter meeting" next month (February 2009). Our league is in need of new players (to bolster existing teams), and new teams (we currently have ten teams in our league), one team would be nice, but two new teams would be even better.

Our web site is www.CIGL.org and it "bares all" about our league and how it works.

Anyone in the Cleveland Ohio area who is interested, please use the contact information on our home page.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks in advance,

TD

Is this open to juniors? I'm between Akron and Cleveland, but checked most of the courses you played, and I've played pretty much all of them.

Sorry, our constitution says that you have to be 18 years of age.

Keep us in mind when you are 18. We have players from all over the greater Cleveland and Akron areas.

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
