Just wanted to see if anyone is putting both 909F3 and 909F2 in their bags.

I was thinking about putting 909F3 15* for more boring flight off the tee and off the deck

and 909F2 18.5* for higher, softer landing to attack the pin from a distance.

Is this a good logic? Thanks.

Yes, thats perfectly fine if thats the way you want to play those clubs. Its why they offer two clubhead options.

very good logic unless you are trying to get to those par 5's in 2 with that 3 wood. Great idea, but also, look at like the 17* 909h instead of the 909f2 for more control, and it would save you like 20 or 30 buckaroos, which is always nice.
Just my $.02

I would say 9 out of 10 times I am short by about 5-10 meters when I am trying to reach par5 in two with my current Ping G10 15.5*. This is the reason why I thought a 15* with more boring projectory would give me that last squeeze of 5-10 meters with carry and roll assuming that I will hit the same distance with the 909F3.

I was just wondering why you said it would be difficult to use 909F3 to reach par5 in two? Thanks.

Some of the other fairway woods seem to have a lot more power coming off their face and are easier to hit off the deck. With the 18* hybrid, you would be able to control your ball more than with the fairway wood. That was just my thinking

i wouldn't get the 15* 909f3, because it is harder to control and harder to get up in the air off the deck. Thats one of the reasons why i got the 909 f2. Only get the f3 if you are low single digits, you will probly get more length out of the 909f2 because if will lanuch the ball higher which results in more roll. Anyways titleist's clubs are pretty low lanuching to begin with so, the extra loft could help you. I have the f2 and i still get a pretty low ball flight, and i am generally a high ball flight player. But i would test the two before buying.

Well good logic bbuutt what if there are bunkers or a carry. Then you would have to adjust your swing. Thats why i got the f2. Just my.02

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
