Ive always thought that Jack Nicklaus is the best clutch putter in the history of golf. (Tiger v Jack argument, lol).

I dont by character arugments as long as the athlete isnt commiting crimes. You dont know either Rory or Tiger, and you never will. You only see what they do on television. You can question etiquette or professionalism, but to making character judgements on a person you probably have never met is silly.

I played with Rory McIlroy in the Pro-Am at the Shell Houston Open a few weeks ago (

He doesn't put on a fake front for the cameras, and he doesn't pick out what he's going to say before he says it. He's just a normal guy like you and I that just happens to have one of the best golf games in the world.

I agree. He's a very good player and I hope he becomes a great player, but there have been a lot of "next big things" before.
