ever had anything stolen at the course?

I've never had anything stolen at a course. People are usually nice and return then. I lost an iron and a headcover on the course and both were returned. Something "happened" to my 56* wedge during the off season at home and I don't know where that went. I had to buy a new one.

I have left clubs behind, but they have always been found by other golfers and returned.  Now if I am going to put clubs down, I always put them between the hole and the cart so I will trip over them if I forget that they are there.

I cant believe how much theft there is at the course.  I never considered the courses/clubs a high theft area so I never took precautions, but after reading this I probably will.
