I saw it in a shop and it looks pretty sweet and has a really nice stock shaft in it. Anyone had any experiences with it?

I'm looking at getting a new 3 wood and I'm pretty open to all options, just looking for something a nice consistent trajectory off a tee and the ground. Since it's too early in the year for demo days in my area I'm just looking for some help in advance to see what's hot out there.

Thanks in advance

I'd also be interested. Just switched over to an L4V and love it and am wanting to see of Cobra fairway woods give the same performance.

yes...yes I have.

I have 3 of them, 2-9.5°, and 1-8.5°. All S9-1 Pro D.

sound is excellent. much better than previous Cobra drivers. If you ever hit a Hyper X...kind of like that just not as tinny and sharp. think more TM r7 to 510 TP-ish.

Ball flight is lower than I thought it would be, because most Cobra drivers I have hit have been higher launching. I believer the Pro S is more higher launching but I have had better luck with the Pro D series of past. The clubhead is a little longer front to back than the old Pro D, and I like that a lot. Gives significantly more roll out than the L5V I have been playing with and has a more mid to mid-high trajectory with a descent similar to it's takeoff and not a more abrupt descent like the L5V.

The Matrix shaft is pretty smooth, and I would say it's to the upper end of the stiffness scale. Definitely not whippy, a little less stout than a Rombax shaft.

One of the 9.5°'s better fit my swing and game so the 8.5° is gone and I'll measure/see which 9.5° I like and go from there.

was in a hurry so, if I left something out that you'd like to know post here and I'll try to be as accurate as I can with a response.

for reference: I prefer a open faced driver but I do not play a draw. I play a straight to baby fade ball and my misses are usually high slices or low pull hooks.

Any experience with the fairway woods?

My only concern on the fairway woods is the heads like tiny compared to some comprable models (Titleist, Callaway, TM, etc.).

I hit them and I honestly didn't like the stock shaft or the black face. I love the Matrix shafts usually but these are 3.9 torque and just were not a good fit for me. I went with the Titleist.

I also have been wondering about the fairway woods I'll find out by this weekend I'm going to a golf show by Detroit, I did however hit the driver's this past weekend at a demo day and was so surprised with the driver's that I forgot all about the fairway woods the pro s model is one of the best Drivers I have hit by far if the fairway wood's are any thing like that then I'll be adding a couple to my bag this spring.

I was thinking about getting an L4V F since Golf.com loved it and the price is very low on ebay.

Tell me about your experience with the driver. How is the sound?

The sound is a loud, low metal trampoline sound. Here is how I would describe it - coming from an old superquad, I was very suprised the first time I heard it, but 10 swings later I didn't even notice it. It is pretty loud, but not sharp. Like i said though, after 10 swings on the range, I didnt even notice any more. The first couple of holes on the course with a random partner sometimes the sound ellicits a response, but usually followed by a comment on how long and straight the drive was. I give it a strong reccomend
