so im buying my first driver tomorow! (ive been using a 3 wood off the tee) i got it narrowed down to a cleveland hibore xls. my teaching pro that works at the shop suggested i get a 9.5 degree stiff shat (he says ill grow into the stiff shaft rather quickly. my question is there is an option for a fujikura gold and a fujikura red shat. can anyone tell me the differences?

The red shaft is supposedly for players with higher swing speeds and it produces a more "tour-like" trajectory. The gold shaft hits the ball a little higher. Considering your 28 handicap, I would say the gold shaft would be more down your alley.

mk i found a couple sights to confirm that... handicap isnt accurate btw
